Exactly 4 months ago it all started with a crazy brain twist. The competition with the longest name ever - Brussels Creativity Call Urban Food 2025 - made it possible to work out an idea and not store it again in the back of my head. We had to do some speed entrepreneuring because the concept now also had to exist in real-time and not only on paper. The three festivals (the atlantis of festivals - Brussels Urban Food Festival, our hidden stage at the posh EAT!Brussels and the iny weeny teeny short visit to Milan Expo) gave us the opportunity to test and defend our mission and vision to real people.
Finaly we didn't win the competition but a lot of enthousiatic partners (Pic-Nik Catering, Studio Marsel Stoopen, Laurence Vanderhaegen Translations, Lies Engelen Photography, Atelier Groot Eiland, Barbarossa, family and friends) showed us so much goodwill and appreciation and gave us a mental boost to just go on and do this!
